Prayer and Care Ministry

Prayer and Care Ministry

Here at Calvary East Valley, we take God’s call to love one another seriously . It is our joy to serve the community through prayer, encouragement and in many practical ways that the Lord has gifted the body of Christ with the resources to do so.

If there are any practical needs you may have at this time, from prayer to grocery shopping to basic car repairs, please don’t hesitate to let us know, we would be blessed to serve in any way we can! Check out the resources below for more information

Moving Ministry

Let us help you with that! Our moving ministry would love to jump in and be the hands and feet of Jesus by helping those in the process of moving from one home to another! Contact us to get started and learn how we can lend a hand.

Hesed In Home

We are so thankful to be able to share this special ministry with you, that God has placed on the heart of our very own Gene Townsend. Here is a note from Gene about Hesed in Home care

When I retired it was my commitment to God that I use my time and talents to honor Him. After 35 years in healthcare, caring for people is my passion. I would like to honor God with my talent and passion by serving the CEV body at home. If you or your loved one is in need of assistance at home, I would love to help out in numerous ways including :

  • Respite
  • Companionship
  • Light housekeeping
  • Personal and hygiene care
  • Meal prep and assistance
  • Range of motion
  • End of life care
